Connect is a platform for creating online courses. Using our products or services, you authorize us to transfer and store information outside of your country, including in the United States, for the purposes described in this Policy. Laws protecting privacy and government access rights to your personal information in such countries may not comply with similar laws in your country.

Our goal is to provide you with a simple and meaningful choice regarding personal information. If you have a Connect account, many of the controls are built directly into Connect or in your settings. For example, you can:

How and when do we share information
Any user can view the public courses that you create, as well as the profile information that you provide to us. We also provide access to this public information through the so-called APIs (in essence, this is a technical way to quickly exchange information). We also provide your data:

How long do we keep your information
We retain your information only as long as we need it in order to ensure that Connect works and achieve the goals described in this Policy. This also applies to any persons with whom we share your information, as well as to those who provide services on our behalf. If we no longer need to use your information and store it in accordance with our legal or regulatory obligations, we will either remove this information from our systems or we will remove personal information so that you cannot be identified.
Children under 13 years old are not allowed to use Connect. If you are a resident of the EEA, you are only allowed to use Connect when you reach the age at which you can consent to the processing of data in accordance with the laws of your country. Request access to your personal data that we collect and store. We usually provide this information within 30 days after a request sent through the Help Center.
Object to our processing of your information. You can ask us to stop processing your data, including when we use it to send you promotional letters. If you refuse advertising messages from us, you may still receive updates and letters about your activity in the system. For example, when you start a course, about buying a course, about passing the middle of the course, and about completing the course.
Request additional information about the information we collect, as well as about the methods and purposes of its use and transmission.

We use and disclose this information for business purposes described in this policy, including: for auditing our services, identifying security incidents and preventing fraud, debugging and fixing errors, servicing your account, customer service, processing and fulfilling orders, conducting research and development, as well as for other activities aimed at improving our services, displaying advertising, marketing our services and analyzing user interactions with our services.
We may change this policy from time to time. In this case, we will post the changes on this page. If you continue to use Connect after the changes take effect, this will mean that you agree to the new policy.
